The "COVID-19 Implications For HIV And TB Services In The Baltic Sea Region» Zoomference

On 17-18. 12. 2020, the conference "COVID-19 implications for HIV and TB services in the Baltic Sea Region" was organized by the Consulate General of Finland in St. Petersburg with the assistance of the expert group on HIV, TB and Associated Infections of the Northern Dimension Partnership for Health and Social Well-Being (NDPHS) and the Program to Combat HIV and Tuberculosis in the Barents Region.

The moderator was Dmitry Titkov, Finnish Institute of Health and Social Welfare (THL). Reports from Russia, Germany, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Estonia and Lithuania were presented at the conference.

Nina Nizovtseva, Chair of the EB Fund, and Elena Nikishova, MD, Professor of the Department of Phthisiopulmonology, took part in the conference and presented a joint report on the topic "The Work of the TB Service during the COVID-19 Pandemic»

 Einar Heldal, MD, Norwegian Institute of Public Health and Rolf Martin Angelvedt, Helseutvalget, presented an overview of the situation of tuberculosis in Norway during the COVID-19 pandemic.
