Young Scientists Make A Notable Contribution to Fight Over TB Infection!

On March 21-22, the 18th Annual All-Russian Conference of Young Scientists with International Participation “Modern Innovative Technologies in Epidemiology, Diagnosis and Treatment of Adult and Child Tuberculosis” was held at the Central Research Institute of Tuberculosis in Moscow.

The conference welcomed young scientists from Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chita, Yakutsk, etc). A student of the Northern State Medical University, Arkhangelsk, Tatyana Deryagina, made a report on the monitoring of mutations in Mycobacterium tuberculosis associated with drug resistance to rifampicin, isoniazid, ethambutol, fluoroquinolone and injectables in the Arkhangelsk Oblast.
