How to communicate effectively

In December 3-7, 2018 in Syktyvkar within the Russian - Norwegian project "Reduce the TB burden in the Republic of Komi" a Health Communication training was held. Among the participants were health workers of the TB service and AIDS Centre. Within five days, the participants mastered modern ways of effective communication with patients and colleagues, the practice of dealing with stress and professional burnout, learned to control emotions. The trainer was Hedvig Amdal, senior advisor in "LHL international". Irina Afanasenkova and Alexandra Avdeeva, Managers of the EB Fund, were actively involved in facilitating the training. The organizers and trainers hope that the knowledge and experience gained at the seminar will be successfully used by the participants in their work, which will have a positive impact on the results, the level of medical care in anti-tuberculosis institutions and the AIDS Center will increase.
