Cooperation in the Republic of Komi goes on

Within the framework of the Russian – Norwegian project "Reduce the TB burden in the Republic of Komi" Nina Nizovtseva, Chair of the Fund, Irina Afanasenkova and Alexandra Avdeeva visited the Republican TB dispensary in the beginning of December 2018.

The purpose of the trip is the assistance in the implementation of project activities, discussion of further steps, update of cooperation plans for 2019 - 2020.

Sergey Vodopyanov, Head of the Republican TB dispensary and his Deputies Snezhana Toinova, Catherine Zhiglova and Olga Mayorova participated in joint work meetings. All of them are part of the project team and directly involved in the organization and implementation of the project activities. The realization of the project continues, both positive aspects and difficulties were discussed.

For faster introduction of the InIT-TB automated system, it was decided to send Grigory Balantsev, the InIT-TB system creator, to the Republican TB dispensary in the near future.
