Check Your Health in Turdeyevo 2017

October 14, 2017, similar to the previous year, in Turdeevo settlement there was an event called "Check Your Health" organized by the administration of Novodvinsk Hospital and EB Fund. The event was held within the framework of the international program "Stop TB in the North-West Russia in Our Lifetime".

On the basis of the first-aid post the work of the specialists from the Novodvinsk Hospital (physician, ophthalmologist, gynecologist) was organized.

At the same time, laboratory collected blood, urine and feces analyzes; electrocardiography was provided.

All those who wished were vaccinated against the flu.

The fund manager talked about the dangers of smoking, the need for regular fluorography examination, prevention of tuberculosis and HIV infection, the prevention of pulmonary and cardiac diseases, the dangers of smoking and others. The presence of carbon monoxide in the lungs was determined with the help of a Smokelyzer.

Volunteers, activists of the Council of Veterans of Turdeevo, rendered a great help in notifying the population about the action.

In general, the event was attended by more than 50 people.
