Regional Conference in Arkhagnelsk, 5-6 April

On April 5-6, a regional conference was held in Arkhangelsk for medical workers involved in TB service. 

At the conference, reports were presented on priority areas for tuberculosis control in the world, Russia and the Arkhangelsk oblast, problems of diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis within reduced regimens of chemotherapy. The results of the anti-tuberculosis work of the medical facilities of the region, both civil and penitentiary sectors, and the work of the "Easy Breathing" Charity Fund in 2016 was summed up. Other issues were also considered, including the development of a TB monitoring program, TB / HIV in the Arkhangelsk oblast in 2017 year.

The conference ended with a round table meeting, where the nearest prospects in the work of district coordinators were discussed, the most common mistakes in the work analyzed and ways to avoid them were considered. The Central Medical Commission and the Coordination Council were conducted.
